Can you post a rendering with the garage door in cobblestone to match the lower siding color? If you portray that option, the door design could be varied.

I don't think your house needs 3 siding materials.

I have bronze windows and "bronze" garage doors, but my doors are singles, which breaks up the brown a bit, and my house is a lot wider than yours and therefore has a lot more of the siding (stucco) color showing in the front. I also have other "bronze" elements to tie it in, like soffit, fascia, gutters and lintels.

If you are leaving everything as it is, then I would match the garage door to the siding.

Thanks for your feedback! I think I'm agreeing with you both and leaning away from the dark bronze (or black brown). One other option is to go with a steel stamped carriage door in a dark walnut look that would match the front door- but am worried it might introduce too many elements. Also we are considering doing the whole house in Hardie (Cobblestone) with a mix of the board and batten and lap siding. I'm trying to achieve a somewhat classic/timeless look.

Would that mean eliminating the limestone (hopefully so)? The garage door would, in my mind, end up cobblestone as it is really not intended to be a design element.

Agree with chispa - simpler is almost always better: one material + fabulous landscaping usually stands the test of time

Not a color comment, but if you havent considered a wifi enabled door, its nice to be able to open the door remotely or close if u forgot.
