That's one large TV there now so if yours is too big with no where else for it to go, the cheapest, easiest, most expected response would be to get a smaller TV.

A floor plan showing adjacent spaces will likely reap more and better responses. Include measurements, doors, windows, etc.

That is a nice spot where you have the TV I don't think it's too big you might have trouble getting it in there but you could always get another TV down the road if you want or let that one die and then get one would be nice to see more pictures of the room the other areas in those arches you can put shells or some cabinet or around round cabinet or a built-in cabinet

Those Half Moon shaped tables would be kind of nice and that spot too

I don’t understand why you couldn’t just have it filled in by drywalling them & skim coated & textured if necessary. i had similar done on alcove above the fireplace. i then purchased a Samsung Frame TV so I wouldn’t have to look at a black hole when not on & had it hung on a wall next to the fireplace.

You can fill them in without changing anything about the fireplace, but they echo the arches of the doorway shown in the picture, and I'm guessing all the other doorways in the house, so at least they fit with other elements. So I could live with them or without them. Do whatever makes you happy.

easiest thing to do would be to move the tv over the fireplace (remove the mantel) and do some built in bookcases in the arches

i like the contrast colors either on the cab or on the bac wall inside the arch

you could also do a dry bar!

Although the arches do match the arched doorways, I am of the opinion that more isn't always better and it might look better with fewer arches and detail.

Does the room need the additional arched alcoves or would it look nicer without the arched alcoves?

getting them filled in and moving tv is another option

you'll need to find a really good drywall person that can not only seamlessly blend the drywall/skimcoat, but match the wall texture if there is any.

do you have any of the same paint? if not, the whole wall will prob need to be repainted.

It looks like you could easily dry wall the niches closed and then you'd have a clean blank slate to work with.
