Do you mean Luxe Gold? I don't see a polished gold listed on their website. Here's our Luxe Gold.

The polished gold can be found in their Invari line for example. Here’s a link. Ah, I see. When you click on the general bathroom section of their site they don’t list that finish. The faucet in that picture is actually the Invari. I just took a closer picture. I don’t feel it reads brown at all.

How is the water spotting on the luxe gold? Did you have any trouble matching hardware? I was also thinking that the delta champagne bronze is so close to the Brizo luxe gold I may as well go with that and save some $$

It does water spot a little, but easily wipes off with a microfiber cloth. Delta and Brizo are the same company, so go for it. Brizo used to be named Delta Select. The mirror finish is a little lighter, but really no other problem finding matching finishes.
