That shade of red goes with the brick quite nicely. I don't think it's too bright at all. It looks great.

Brighter color front doors are trending, so you are up to speed on the color choice.

I do not like the yellowish/ivory trim color. White would be preferable with red.

On my monitor, the door look very shiny and casts an orangy pinkish tone. I would go for a deeper red and place a coco mat to coordinate with the colour in your bricks instead of a black one.

Do you like it?? When I moved into our neighborhood I painted the front door on our white house…red! I loved it! It was bright and happy and made me smile when I looked at it. A few weeks after it was painted…the neighborhood “Guardian” walked by, greeted me as I worked in the yard and said…” You are NOT leaving the door that color, are you???” I was shocked. And then she said, “OR…do you intend to open a Talbot’s Store in your home?” I started to laugh. NO. I am not saying your door looks like a Talbots Store. Your posting reminded me of that comment, though. We did eventually paint our door a darker, deeper red. But your door looks fine to me! ❤️

yeah, looks awesome... but as mentioned before, is the door trim white? in the photo the off white trim is distracting and doesn't fit.

I prefer darker, “ browner” red next to that brick. Is almost match the reddest brick but might try one tick brighter. Meaning, I just personally prefer tones to be more in same family of about of base tone ( grayed or blackened or browned colors with similar , clearer crayon colors with similar ) than some that’s more intense just to be “ bright”. Like preferring “ handsome” over a “ pop”. Could even see a green rather than red.

I just saw a real estate listing photo with similar brick and a deeper, more brick red door than your photo, with sidelights painted more of a taupey cream ( I think it seemed to go with the grout or lightest bits in the brick) and it reminded me of your entryway & what I’d be going for.
