We are looking to upgrade our deck, 30 year old house. We would love to add a patio cover so we can have a living area on the upper deck where our main living space is. Looking to expand to a 10 or 11 foot long by 15-16 feet wide deck. Problem is, this is where we look out from our kitchen window (west facing), I love seeing the blue sky but the heat gets a but much. In Vancouver BC, so we have our share of dark rainy days. Would love to have a space we can use all year but low maintenance.
