help me choose basement wall color

Redoing our basement- no natural light. Will have lower white beadboard and tentatively going with a neutral flat weave nylon rug in greys/ blues/tan ( pic below). I need recs for wall color above the beadboard. While a grey/ blue would match the rug- I’m weary of those colors and would like something cheerier. Would a soft creamy yellow/ tan work? Any BM recs? Thx
