I am having trouble seeing (trendy) black windows with that yellow brick? - I would keep the color scheme super simple as too many colors & materials often chops up a house visually, esp smaller houses - I would have the fascia blend with the siding and the gutters blend as much as possible dep on location (on our house, we did downspouts the color of the house and horizontal gutters, the color of the fascia so they dissapear as much as possible) -

agree with @la_la Girl any home, not just a small home should have a limited number of colors and textures. The sage green siding sounds nice with the golden brick, how about a soft cream for the trims. I would remove the shutters... and the plastic window inserts on the garage door windows.

Dark brown would be a far better choice than black.

To be clear, we weren't looking to do black gutters and fascia, just potentially black windows, but we did have some doubts so this is helpful. We are leaning towards cream as of now

Black might be too severe. Have you checked bronze trimmed windows? Your brick is really nice, and the other elements should play nicely with that.

If the grout is grey, you might be able to lean that way, but I still think bronze for trim, gutters and leaders might work well.

If you remove the shutters, does the brick have a “shadow” of the shape? Sometimes shutters prefer the sun from hitting some of the siding (in your case, the brick) and their shape is noticeable. If not, I would consider removing them when you get new windows, whichever trim you choose.

Gutters are not a feature and should be the trim color on 90% of houses. If you are potentially changing the windows cream is a much better option then black. Wait to do the gutters so they can match the windows and paint the soffit etc to match.

For me the color your siding is now is much nicer than a sage green would be.
