Need help updating master bedroom

Room measurements are 12x14.

We have recently updated our master bath (pics below) and now I want to update our master bedroom.

Already have redone the floors, as we did the entire house. Husband also hung bedside lamps a few years ago and I like them so they will be kept. Built in corner cabinet is storage/tv and is being kept.

I know accent walls are a thing many do not care for anymore but I kinda like it. Adds color but doesn't darken room too much. Would like to keep it but open to ideas. It's a burgandy color.

Tired of the faux wood blinds and valances. Thinking of roman shades. What color/patterns? Not sure if inside mount shades will work though due to lack of space between windows.

Keeping the wood framing around the bay window but should it be painted or re-stained? It's not as yellow/oranges as the bedroom set at least!

Furniture is from when we first married 29 years ago! Very decent quality but dated. That yucky orange glow!

-sell it and aquire new? (Ours is real solid wood and now a days that is really expensive to

replace)

-paint it? What color? Please do not say white, not my style.

-also saw where I could sand off the stain and clear coat it as raw pine (lots of work and is that

worth it because although the color changes the style is still old)

-if I keep furniture, was going to do away with the mirror and just use the bureau

-if I opt to buy new, what color furniture would go good with the floor?

Need new bed linens, what color/pattern? If I keep accent wall color do I make the shades or bed linens patterns or solids or one of each?

Thanks for any input! When God gave out the ability of interior decorating I must have been in the restroom!
