Baseboards

This is exactly the negative edge baseboard we have in our home. The look is very nice, but as it is drywall that meets the tile, it is easy for cleaning crews to damage the wall. And, the tile installers did not always take the tile to the wall therefore we have some cracking grout lines near our walls. We are debating a robotic vac/mop for cleaning the tile floors. Otherwise we are using a string mop. It's a big job! Anyone else have any ideas?

Hi. In the photo above, we actually used a painted wood base that lines up with the painted drywall above the "C" channel, so we don't have any issues with damage from cleaning or Robovacs etc.... You could add a small wood Shoe moulding piece to the bottom of your baseboard, but that would change the style/look of the design.
