Catching from this weekends blooms

Moving a garden is soooo much fun! Not! At least I am only moving a garden 20 minutes away. I have done the state before and that is no fun.

COSMIC SHINER: First year in the ground. It is reaching its registered height and blooms have been consistent.

BUDDY'S BLACK LADY: Seems to tolerate my winters.

ANGELS ON OUR SHOULDERS: Arrived this past Spring.

SHORES OF TIME: Moved last week.

PROPER STRANGER

QUEEN OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS: I like this one.

ULTIMATE ILLUSION

EMMA TOMLINSON MCHUGH: I like this one. Love the prominant white midrib.

Clown Parade among the weeds, which are obnoxious as the foliage and stems all have little points that certainly get my attention. Does anyone have any idea what these weeds might be?

SUPERMODEL and it is super vigorous.

What a good collection of daylilies in this post. Am I supposed to pick a favorite? I think not.......... There are a few that I find interesting though. The patterned ones appeal to me, but I know what most patterns do in 100 degree heat. Maybe these would be different?!....Your dark purple with the simple white edge, Buddy's Black Lady, looks almost blotch free. Amazing........Proper Lady is a subtle charmer with it's color variations. I like that one too. I could go on, but as I said, they are all great......Maryl

Buddy’s Black Lady does look good in your photo. Of course, I do like your Bennetts. Your patterned ones look very interesting-and I really like Emma Tomlinson McHugh.

There are a number of free plant ID apps for a smartphone. I have one I really like. It has been very accurate.

I cannot imagine moving a garden anytime much less in the summer!

Cosmic Shiner is a new one for me. I really like the eye and the toothy edge--my kind of daylily. I also like Sonique.

Emma Tomlinson McHugh is a pretty one and, of course, Extra Bold is very appealing. cosmic Shiner gets your attention.

Yes, Shiner makes a statement. Is it actually 7 inches? Extra Bold has not been bold here, but is in a part of the garden that is full sun all day. That has been deadly this year. I see that Janet is out of Seal of Approval. Sonique looks interesting; has Ocean Spirit in its background. Up Tempo--yet another Bennett shade of pink. You will probably not have time to list your faves this year.

BUDDY'S BLACK LADY is a great dark one. I think EMMA TOMLINSON MCHUGH is my favorite. I too love that white midrib. Shores of time is always beautiful.

Last year I split about 55 daylilies and even that was so much work. I can't imagine moving them elsewhere.
