Why are you even embarking on an upgrade? 60" double vanities are not something anyone aspires to. It is better to have a vanity with one sink instead.

Right now I am looking for an alternate home, and in 99% of the cases, I have to estimate the cost of pulling out all the new 'upgrades' because they are usually cheap and terrible.

post a picture of the bathroom and the vanity, the wall where it's going and the mirror you're considering. you want advice but we have to imagine everything??

I don't see having two sinks in a 60" vanity as being an improvement. If I bought the house, I would be ditching it for a single sink vanity.

I would never do what you are doing. In no case would I pay for this non improvement,

Buy two 18 or 24"w x 36" h framed mirrors, put a light over each mirror, each centered in the sinks, and call it a day.

They will definitely do it over. Of this I have no doubt. But for staging, it's an improvement.

Nope. Leave it as is. The total bathroom needs to be redone, so why nibble on the edges? It won't get you a $1 more.

The finished product. Reminder, this was "for resale" project and I'm happy with my results. The before is above and below is after. I hope you all like it and thanks for the input. I believe it definitely added value to my cape house in Connecticut. The colors are softer in person; camera makes all colors much deeper.
