Pottery barn sectional and fabric question

Looking for opinions - My head is spinning looking at sectionals.. Trying to decide on the PB Carmel sectional and looking at the performance heathered basketweave fabric in dove. There seems to be a lot of choices on the performance fabrics.

Does anyone have this sofa and or fabric (performance heathered basketweave)?

Would love to hear how they hold up or if I should keep lookng.

I just bought the slipcovered Carmel bumper sectional and matching ottoman in performance boucle. Right now it's on sale for specific Carmel options. I tested a heathered basketweave (dove) swatch with ketchup and wet catfood. It washed up beautifully. I also rubbed it together vigorously but it did not seem to fuzz. The color didn't work for me. I have 24 hours to change my mind (cancel and reorder) and I'm seriously considering switching to the heathered basketweave in oatmeal or ivory.

I'd heard PB upholstery is not well made and not long lasting. I tried to talk my neighbor out of a PB sectional for this reason. Instead she ordered it and is mighty bummed out that there is puckering all along the back cushions where the welting is. I'd keep looking.
