Best Kitchen Appliance Package

Hi everyone!

I’m choosing appliances for my kitchen for the first time in my life and I’m looking for a full kitchen package including:

36” W Refrigerator Counter Depth
36” Electric Cooktop (could be convinced to do 30”)
Wall Oven
Dishwasher

At first I had my mind set on the Samsung Bespoke line because it looks so sleek but my contractor talked me out of it since they’re known for being unreliable.

I know not all brands are the best in each category but I want the appliances to match or at least look good together.

Get a Bosch panel ready dishwasher and the rest based on the fridge and range features. Switch to a 30” induction range. Frankly no one cares if your appliances match if they are all stainless.

We like our Bosch DW, wall oven, and induction cooktop. Bosch didn't offer exactly what we wanted for features for refrigerator, so we got a Whirlpool. It all matches in finish. Your exhaust hood should be figured in. I will never buy a Samsung appliance again after our experiences with our last refrigerator.

Get the most reliable examples of each appliance. Miele 5056 dw or Bosch only. A 30" induction range will save counter space and money on cabinets. Bosch industrial. I'd get a SZ frig for longevity.

Dont buy a package. Buy the best you can afford for each item.

I would put in a range, and not a cook top and an oven, if you can possibly change that option.

Whatever you do buy an inducrion cooktop. agree no need for everything to match. we spent more on cooktop (miele) and less on oven (whirlpool) and fridge (lg) because that is where the extra money made a difference for us. everything is stainless so it all matches, and we took logos off where possible.

I wouldn't buy a radiant cooktop; get an induction model instead.

I wouldn't buy a package. No manufacturer makes the best appliances in each category. A CR-recommended set would include Cafe CTS70DP2NS1 oven, Frigidaire FPIC3677RF induction cooktop*, Bosch SHP65CM5N dishwasher, and GE GYE22GYNFS refrigerator.

No manufacturers make best in each category. Which is what you should be choosing. Packages create a rage situation with a mismatch anyway when you are stuck with at least 1 lemon, and have to replace it.

High end kitchens that look superb never have matching appliances sets. Good design is what makes your appliances look wonderful together. There is such a difference in appliance quality and longevity across a brand that you will soon regret buying a package.

Am I correct that you are going for stainless? If so, they will all look good together. Show us where you are placing them and what is around them and we can give you pointers.

(When moved into our home 3 years ago, it had been just redone with a high end Italian range and appliances to match. First thing we did was remove the fridge, just based on the horrible service review records, and replace with a different brand that got excellent reviews. The microwave is kaput in just 3 years. And we swapped out the dishwasher for a Bosch. )
