Get rid of that stand put in a matching night stand with matching lamps...work on the bedding you need layers

Along with the additional nightstand, have a think about taller lamp (or lamps) that reaches at least to the top of the bed head. For colour ideas look at your bedspread - you’ll be able to find a pale or stronger lamp base colour there, with a cream shade. I note your window doesn’t have any drapes, even in you are not a fan of drapes some drapery panels at the sides will soften the room in the background colour of your bedspread - which looks like a linen or cream colour. A throw and some European pillows, again drawing from your bedspread for inspiration and you will have the room you have been looking for.

Move the plant stand. Add stationary curtains (faux panels that don't really close) to the ends of your window. A nice billowy pleated curtain will soften the room and make it more feminine.
