Given window locations, I wouldn’t use a pattern as it will break up the room visually. You could layer with blinds if you want to create more interest/layered look.

Instead add interest with art between windows, a lamp, textured cushions and maybe rethink the corner.

Your current curtains are winners. I'd keep them. They look great. If you have your heart set on a really expensive, neutral patterned fabric then that's a different story. Sure you could find other fabric. But I really like what is there now.

I'd scoot the sofa away from both wall by about 5" so there is a tad bit of breathing room between it and the curtains.

Take the mirror away and keep the drapes you have add some color somewhere else like pillows on the sofa some lighting no stuff sitting on the floor all easy fixes for little money .Why pleated drapes in what looks like a very casual space ?
