I think not all homes need white walls but if whait is the plan then the same as the trim only matte finish Wahites are tricky to combine make your life simple I actually like this cut 50% for walls in a new build where you have to choose now It gives you abeutiful very neutral background for almost every wood and color think nature , not much there in white backgrounds this is BM BTW

I know i choose it often and after all this time many of my clients have not changed it either

Does the white on your kitchen cabinets most closely ressemble Chantilly Lace? If it's a cabinet maker's white and you don't know exactly what it is, look at chips next to it to see which white it is. Then I suggest you get Samplize samples (which are larger) because looking at tiny chips can steer you wrong. If you put a different white next to your cabinets it will look like a hit and a miss.

I wouldn't put CL next to most warm colors. I think it looks better next to colors that lean at least a little gray. I have it next to Pale Oak in my living room and that works. I use Simply White on trim when I want a warmer wall color.

A lot of colors work with Chantilly Lace because it's very low in chroma. In other words, it is a neutral color of white. However, you are somewhat limited in terms of white wall colors to put next to it.

IMO, the color of your floor is the primary issue, Chantilly is the second.

Because you want to create a cohesive, neutral envelope that's going to be flexible, adaptable as you add contents, decor.

Floor color will be “malibu french oak“ i really like the pop of white on the trim i dont think i like white dove on trim and walls to create the monochrome look…

There’s no such thing as a creamy NEUTRAL white, especially if you find White Dove too warm ☺️. Any whit can look creamy/off/dingy compared to Chantilly Lace. You might consider soft off-whites with a bit more purpose like SW Pearly White.
