What don't you like about what you have? It looks pretty nice, TBH. Usually when people post pictures of these things they're clearly from decades ago.

I'd add the same wood cabinetry above the TV and trim out the windows with wider moulding. forget the decor.

I would simply adjust what you have.

I'd cut down the center section of the entertainment unit.

If you need a center speaker it looks as though there's enough room for a sound bar in the center section.

If you have a skilled carpenter, the center section could also be reduced in depth.

You might consider just getting rid of the wood around the TV part. The 2 side cabinets should be able to stay easily.
