Cabinet for awkward space

I’m looking for a cabinet or linen tower to put in this awkward space between the vanity and wall in the bathroom of a garage apartment. The space is 10.25” W, 17.5” D, 57” H. Any suggestions where I can purchase something with those uncommon dimensions? I would also be open to suggestions on another creative way to use the space.

Those are the exterior dimensions of the cabinet. The interior usable space is going to be so narrow, it is not worth it. I have having to put in or pull out towels from a tiny crammed area. I'd leave the space as is and reorganize your current storage to fit your linens.

The vanity shoulf have gone to the wall but now it is just wasted space and honestly if you want for a room show us the whole room IMO right now a trash can

It doesn't need anything, even a trash can probably wouldn't fit.

I would leave it empty. It could be a spot for an extra towel bar.

Is there a similar space on the other side of the vanity? A bigger photo would help. I think the “empty” space is appropriate, given the slant of the wall/ceiling to the right.

Good place for a trash can or to hang a hook on the side of the vanity for a hair dryer.

Do your measurements include the baseboard and molding?

You could probably find some kind of small shelf tower ( but couldn’t be too towering!) or make open shelving to store small items in the open, but that might add a lot of visual clutter plus needs regular cleaning. Wouldn’t put anything for just “ decor” items so you’d have to know what you’re willing to leave out- rolled towels, extra TP, soap-vs do you have places to store that stuff already that are as good or better.

You definitely could put a slim trash bin there, so if one is taking up space elsewhere in room, that’s an option.

You might actually be able to create a counter- height “ extension “ with just a single bracketed shelf , if that would be useful.
So it be good to think whether and what would be truly useful, necessary, not just worry about “ wasted space” and how to fill it. Less can be more. Where is the hand towel currently? A towel ring or bar would work there.

I would also leave it empty — but if you need a spot for towels, you could hang this on the wall, your rolled towels would be stocked by loading them in on the side so the ends showed - it projects 5.5 in from the wall (Etsy)

It’s also a good opportunity to see whether you have other storage area that either need to be de- cluttered, or need upgrading with investment in better shelving or other storage modifications. Asking more, where are the best places to put particular things, if I could, and what tradeoffs occur in how things look, how my environment is improved or made worse.

I would put a small trash bin there or leave it empty so your tenant can use as they prefer.

I vote for the towel bar rack (what a great idea) and a small trash bin below. No cabinet
