One Year-Old Fruiting Mango Tree

I recently purchased a mango tree online. It is 2.5’ish tall and started putting flowers on last week. From what I’ve gathered this mango tree can’t be much older than a year, and I’ve heard that a tree this young fruiting can stress it and potentially kill it? What course of action should I take? Should I prune the flowers or let it be? Thank you!
