I have gardenweb.com in my url all the time, rarely visit Houzz. This is a Gardenweb forum, and I'm afraid the only way you can search it is to actually be on that website.

My search still works, within the specific forum...for how long, though, who knows? If I enter through Houzz, I can only search through ”discussions” and any number of forums come up.

I have better results using google search. I search ”houzz, garden forum, <keyword>”

Yep, same -- I try to in through G-Web, and it takes me to H*Z.

The search function on H*Z SUCKS!! As an example, I typed in "poplar" since I just made a post about poplar trees and figured it would pop right up. Nope. All kinds of threads about staining poplar wood, poplar beams, etc. but nothing about poplar trees that I just posted less than an hour ago.

ETA: I also have better luck with Go*g* searches, as well.

@callirhoe123 and @porkchop_z5b_MI that is exactly what prompted me to post this thread.

(And it has been my experience that a houzz search starting within the forum desired is more productive for me than a google search)
