Please Help. I need some design ideas for a home remodel. We purchased a custom built home from 1990. It is very much a closed floor plan. You enter the home through the garage and step into the laundry room. Then there is a 8 foot walkway that leads into the Kitchen. The kitchen has a large island and large breakfast area surrounded by windows. We have a formal dining room next to the breakfast area. We are going to knock the wall down between the kitchen and the family room to open up the space some. We are also relocating the laundry room to the other side of the house where all the bedrooms are. When we knock the wall down, I’m going to lose 2 1/2 feet of cabinets and a pantry closet that has the bifold doors. Currently there is no other pantry in the kitchen. Should I turn the laundry room or formal dining room into a Butler’s pantry? All suggestions welcomed because I’m clueless 😊
