Test the soil to ensure it remains moist, not soggy due to too much rain or even dry if the soil drains too well. Leaves where fungal spores germinated due to too much rain may start to curl, yellow out and drop in order to further spread the spores. it depends. As long as the leaves are green, they are producing food for the roots but once they start to turn yellow, they will fall and help spread spores so they can then be removed. Discard them in the trash as they will be spore laden.
