I know nothing about tjis rose and never buy roses that I cant spell but that color is so delicate and pretty. Go for it.

I had this rose some years ago and really liked it! It was kept in a pot and it never got big but maybe that was the pot. Don't remember what happened to it but think you should go for it!

I just noticed on HMF that MAG is also known as “White LaFrance.” Much easier to spell.

You might try asking Burling. My best strategy with her is to send her an email and give her my phone # so she can call at her convenience. She's very friendly and helpful :-D

Susan, I actually did email Burling with some questions. She said the rose would work very well in a container. She didn’t answer my question about whether it was thorny, though. She may have a 1 gallon in stock, which is preferable to a band at this point.
I’m excited, because my understanding is this rose has thick pedals. On another thread, I’ve been looking for those.

Sylvia, the last time I ordered from Burling, she had gallons of both of the roses I wanted, so I jumped on them. Much better than the bands, and for only a few dollars more!
