Habanero Gold separation

5 jars look like jello that has separated into halves. Are they ok? Just not pretty or do they need reprocessing?

Is that an air space between the layers, or did it just separate into layers? I've never seen that in mine, so I can't conjecture a solution.

If it's sealed, it should be safe, although not as pretty. You can stir it together when you open the jar. I very gently "rotate" my jars of Gold to keep everything nicely suspended and I haven't lost a seal yet. I don't shake it up, of course, just turn the jar around to get the pieces of pepper and apricot suspended throughout the jam.

It is a large space like a giant air bubble. It was just five out of 4 batches. I've never had this happen. I decided to open them and reprocess.

I haven't even made mine yet this year, but that is definitely something I've never had happen. Now watch, it'll happen, LOL.
