I love the house, just the color it is, and yes, I know some will tell you to lose the shutters. I think, the shutters add a lot of interest, so I would definitely be leaving them, and also the black that they are now.

I would however, put some nice furniture on that beautiful front porch, to make it more inviting. Something with some color.

If the roof is now a different color than what is shown in the picture you need to post a new picture. How do you feel about green? I like the yellow and lighter colors, but here are some pictures of darker colors as well if you want to get an idea of how they look:

@kandrewspa this is the new roof in the picture. The sun makes it look lighter then it is.

The current colors look very nice but if you need change sage would be pretty.

I do not usually like shutters but those seem to be okay as long as they add up in measurement to the whole width of the window they are attached to. So meausre that and to me they look a bit small but could be a camera angle. As for color a white with navy shutters could give a nice clean look . I do like the combo from chloebud too.

I really like chloebud’s palette. The shutters will come off prior to painting, so see if you like that look. If not, have them painted and reinstalled.

Your shutters appear very narrow, looking like bandaids stuck up there. Shutters CAN look good but yours don’t.
