Hard to help with all the mess so what does she need for storage since it appears she has lots that needs a home . How old is she? Waht is in the closet for organization. I fin kids stuff seems to overtake sapces often for no real reason so older toys not played with can go stuffies kept to a few clothing if it does not fit goes out Most of the mess is usually just too much stuff . Is that amakeup table ? I need mor einfo and you need a declutter with new pics all dealt with here in comments DO NOT start another post

I would declutter and toss stuff before I would try to force storage in that space. Open space isn't necessarily useless. It gives breathing room to a space.

You already have under bed storage drawers. What are you trying to fit in here? Is this a bedroom and a play room? How old is your daughter?

If you are really struggling for space and you can't part with stuff, consider a loft bed.

“Small unusable space at the end of her bed” is exactly what it is. Too small to be usable. Move that bookcase elsewhere.

If you must, you could possibly mount high hanging open shelves there. Very shallow shelves, like 8” deep or so. Not floor-to-ceiling shelving.

I might pace some colorful baskets there and hang coordinated, fun wall hooks above.

If it were me, I would measure and put a narrow white bookshelf (anchored) on the wall where next to where the curtain is hung to add some vertical storage - then leave the rest of the space at the end of the bed open

I would move the bed away from the window wall and put that small shelf unit against the wall. You need to leave enough space she can walk around the bed.

Partim. There’s no room for a reading nook. The room needs less. Not more. Still need room dimensions and a clear idea of what pieces must stay. Perhaps there is a better spot for the bed.

There might be room for a small comfortable chair like this one, which is only 18" wide. (The shelf there is probably 12" deep, and looks like there's at least 6" of additional wall space.) Or a bean bag. In my experience children like little hidden nooks to read. There's an outlet so you could do a wall-mounted light on a swing arm. Of course if she's older or a tween then this would be a bit tight for space.

It looks like there's 20" or so between the wall and the foot of the bed (assuming that's an Ikea Kallax, which is 15.5" deep). I like Ikea for kids' rooms - they are inexpensive but functional, and they can take a lot of abuse. I was going to suggest a shallow Billy bookcase, but I think that small rolling storage/cart would be more useful, because you could roll it out of the way to get to the far side of the bed if you needed to. Something like a Hornavan cart, or a Lennart rolling drawer unit (I have 2 of these, and find them quite useful)

Can you post a floor plan of the room showing all dimensions (doors & windows). Perhaps there can be a better layout for the room that would allow better use of the space. There's really very liitle room between the cube unit and the foot of the bed. You can also post a picture of all 4 walls so that we can see all of the furniture in the room.

I assumed, maybe incorrectly, that the cube unit was not staying.

Tiny space for an adult but a kid can fit in there well. Hang four storage pockets, bins, or baskets vertically on the window wall. She can shimmy in there to toss belongings and toys in them. Nice rug. Not sure why everyone cares that is a mess. It's a kid's roo

Centre the bed on wall where make up take is located on other side. Add either slim bookcase at either side of window/ or one bookcase on one side, and drawers on the other. On the drawer you can either put some books too or other stuff. Below the window and between the bookcases put in a bench with storage so it can be a reading nook near the window light. Then the rest of what furniture you have will fall into place hopefully. Hope it turns out nicely.

As someone else suggested first thing to do is declutter and get rid of items that are seldom or never used. Try rearranging what is left in a manner that works best for the room. Come up with a solid color scheme and style that your daughter likes. Since the walls are pretty much empty would suggest using artwork that you have or finding pieces that fit the decor.

IMO without a to scale floor plan and alot more info this is impossible to answer.

Go vertical with shelves or just do a good job of paring down . It seems you have 10 pounds of stuff but only a five pound bag, to put it politely.
