I think the black is dramatic but IMO it needs windows in fact either need windows and if you can fine one with windows that look like the windows tyou have it would be perfect . The cedar is nice but not dramatic so I guess either can work but I think the cedar does not work wit the brick

I rather like the black, but I'd go with the cedar because it coordinates with your wood front door and overall looks better and is a more cohesive look. Keep the black trim around the cedar like in the mock-up, that looks great.
