W1T Lint Filter?

last modified: 2 years ago

We're staying in an AirBnb with a Miele W1T washer/dryer all-in-one. I've found the instruction manual online and figured out the corresponding French instructions to use the machine, but is there no lint filter? I searched "lint" and "clean" in the manual but nothing comes up. Where does the lint go?

I assume you mean "WT1" not "W1T". I found three user manuals in English:
- WTD 165 (GB)
- WTR 860 (GB)
- WTD 160 (AU)
These machines don't have a lint filter, perhaps because it's thought that lint would be caught and rinsed away during the wash cycle. The WTR 860 does have a Rinse Out Fluff program that the others don't. They all have Drain Filters but routine cleaning of them is not expected.

WT1, right you are. I found the WTD 160 document to figure out the cycles in French, but no mention of lint removal. This is going to be an OCD challenge!
