Are you going to watch TV in the space? If so, then the TV belongs in the corner you're concerned about. If you're not planning to watch TV in this space, then move the gray chair to the corner to create a reading corner by adding an ottoman and a great floor lamp, sconce, or dropped pendant overhead. Get over being bothered by the two chairs facing the view, but leave space in between for an accent table. That's the only seating facing your woods.

@chispa's idea is good, too, but since you were bothered by chair backs facing entry, maybe that's a problem for you as well. The back of a sofa with console as chispa suggeests extends the foyer and walkway. It's functional and attractive. Try out the different suggested layouts.

Agree on moving the TV to the right of the fireplace. It seems high where it is.

Sorry, I didn't realize TV was over fireplace. I like Beverly's idea of moving it to the side and flipping the sectional.

Have you considered turning the sectional, so that you see the sectional upon entering over the chairs? You could even do a sofa and two chairs and a sofa table instead. There are plenty of options, what do you think would work best for you?
