BM has a ceiling paint that is geared towards making the ceilings look as perfect as possible. I would have them make that up in the same color (if a matching colors what you’re looking for) I believe their ceiling paint is a also bit lower in price than their wall paints, especially the Aura line.

My painters accidentally used BM Aura matte for the ceilings, in the same white color as my semi-gloss trim. All my ceilings are flat, not vaulted, and in certain lights you do get a bit of a shine showing through with the matte paint. I would specify flat for the ceilings ... which is what I forgot to do and assumed they would, because don't most people use flat on ceilings!

Thanks to you both for commenting. We used super white matte on our non-vaulted kitchen ceilings and ended up repainting with the ultra flat in super white. But the ceiling in that room got a weird reflection from the window. We are painting ourselves, and it’s tempting to use the same matte as the walls to avoid cutting in.
