I love the Annie Selke ottomans with a tray - great color and texture

Those are so pretty! i was even considering a large ottoman style. i suppose those could do double duty?

The bonus is the ottomans are easy to build so get one that works perfectly in the space . Your style is bit eclectic so I would look for really fabulouse fabric that enhances that look and maybe a mirrored tray

How tall is your current table? Looks to be on the taller side or your seating is really low! Is the table around 22" high?

I like my coffee tables to be 18 - 20" high, specially with transitional decor, but that is hard to find these days, as most of the coffee tables are closer to 16" high.

I love your current coffee table. It's a classic design that has been around for decades. Might have been sold by LaBarge or Mastercraft for years and years.

It's not too large It is simply taller in height because it's considered a TEA TABLE. It's a table designed for serving tea, which needs to be taller than your standard coffee table. There are other options depending on how you use the area.

If you require an ottoman for lounging and a table for placing items you might consider a combination ottoman/table. There are several panel end tables currently being sold that are tall enough to slide over top of an ottoman.

A panel end coffee table can function alone or over top of one or two ottomans.

Another option that might look great in your eclectic space is a trunk designed with a lift-top. This trunk is not so precious that it can't receive feet occasionally. It can also be raised to enable supper or drinks when necessary.

I've made a few adjustments to your room. That table on the wall is blocking the space for the lounge chair and should be moved

IMO the blue rug is all wrong for the space. A wrong with stronger colors and patterns might contact your other selections better.

The floor lamp is the right except about 25% too small for the scale of the room so I boosted that.

I'd up the appearance of the art on your walls.

@chispa it’s 25” is considered a cocktail table. Bought it 27 years ago when we had a more traditional couch that was higher and fluffier. i updated the couch several years ago and never really liked them together unless i go contemporary/mode modem which isn’t really me.. it is hard to find the taller ones.

Yes, the coffee table I’ve read is Hollywood regency style. Been around a while. i think there are some on cherish. I loved it for years with my other furniture i had. The quality is amazing, but i feel it throws everything off. I used to have the darker and jewel tones, now I’m really wanting a light fresh, relaxing feel. The leather couch my husband wanted. I would have rather had a light linen. Anyway, I’m open to changing the rug want a fresh light look to contrast the dark wood flooring. Maybe even i light cowhide?? I also have heavy medium toned wood pieces in the dining room that is open to the living, so I’m trying to lighten and brighten.

I just bought the painting recently. The colors play off a blue sideboard in the dining and the painting in there. So i want some pops of color on the walls, white walls they are SW Alabaster, not too white. Also maybe a more neutral light rug. I’ll include a dining room picture so you can see the other pieces. Trying to figure out what style of coffee table goes best with furniture I have. I feel like I’d need to change a lot to make the one i have work really well, what do you think? it doesn’t really go with the style in the dining and i want the rooms to complement each other better. Here are some tables I’ve had on my phone for a while. Trying to narrow down and determine what would look the best and look great for years to come.

Either the rug goes or the art goes because they don't play nice together. If the art stays you might want to add wall sconces to cover more of the wall.

The height of the coffee table should relate to the seat height of your sofa.

I loved high tables when I used to read the paper in the morning, but that stopped years ago.

I am having a wood waterfall table custom made to work with an ottioman that I purchased a couple years ago. The ottoman matches the sofa that I also purchased - and it is pretty large. I wouldn't want to purchase one at Ashley's for a couple reasons.

First, the ottoman won't be constructed very well. My ottoman is constructed the same way as my sofa - with wood + hand tied springs + a good center high density foam cushion that is surrounded on both sides with down.

My ottoman is two pieces - the top is a separate cushion = it can be fluffed and flipped (same as my sofa cushions) + is removable = can be washed. The waterfall table has recessed coaster (wheels) = it can be easily moved from one side to the other - or completely removed when we want to use the ottoman to make one end of the sofa like a chaise (or simply pull it up against the front of the sofa on movie night).

Second, the waterfall wood table will be exactly that = real wood (not particle board or something else covered with wood veneer - or worse, some type of faux wood looking laminate.

Originally, I purchased a nice tray to use on the ottoman - while it looks nice, I don't feel like it's nearly as functional as my new waterfall wood table will be.

I need to decide if I want it made out of walnut or white oak (leaning towards walnut) + decide on the exact dimensions. Very excited to have it finished - I think it will be much more functional than a tray (I actually tried two different trays - neither really worked well).

You have a good taste. I like your oversized coffee tables, especially in pic with wooden double ones.

@BeverlyFLADeziner i agree, the height is off that’s one reason i want to replace it. The art and rug do fight a bit. there’s no green in the rug. i got both to bring in blue And some bright pop to play off the blue sideboard in the dining. I’ll have to figure out which one I’ll move. The blue in the art is almost identical to the sideboard unfortunately there’s more green.

I really like this one but love everything about this room including art coffee table. All of it if i could b uy it all!

W House-is that leather couch from Costco by chance? They carry one called Lucca that looks very similar. If it was just, I was going to ask how it's holding up.

@always1stepbehind no it’s the Turner Grand from Pottery Barn. It’s the longest one they make.

Thank you. After doing a little googling, I realized it wasn't the Costo Luca sofa and might be the potterty barn one. Also, wanted to add, I really like your decor style. Love the pop of color in both the living area and the dining area.
