I may be qualified to comment here, since I live on a small budget.

I would sell the bed since it takes up SO much room in a tiny space, plus nothing about that bed is minimalist.

Get just a headboard and frame for the bed (on FB Marketplace or Offerup, for $100-$200).

Try to get that closet door back on there if you can.

You need a couple lamps for the nightstands (go shop at FB Marketplace or Offerup).

Then I think you need art for the walls. Check out consignment shops, or look on Etsy, or wherever, for a good deal, and for something you enjoy looking at.

And finally, I'd go to a big-box store for some woven wood blinds that perhaps look like this, and perhaps complement the closet doors and trim:

Finally, I am not a fan of fans, but if you REALLY have to have a fan in the bedroom, then I would paint out the blades the same color as the ceiling so it blends in.

We started marriage in tight spaces with an even tighter budget and found a waterbed ( that dates us LOL) that had an under dresser plus head board that provided lamps and night stand like storage. You could get or DIY a sleeker modern version of this with wall lamps on headboard and under dresser replacing dresser that eat up floor space. Or pendant lamps suspended over wall mounted shelves instead of nightstands. Mirrored sliding doors would bounce light and make room appear larger. then those closet doors could be repurposed as a headboard. Don't have footboard to save space. Maybe a small storage bench if you needed more storage, I like the bamboo shade above for replacing those vintage vertical blinds.

Do you have a favorite color? Painting the walls, fixing the closet doors or replacing with curtains and new bedding and window curtains will give the room a new punch affordably.

Interested in painting (including closets), new window treatment, better lighting? Regarding furniture, if you add simple closet organization, the heavy dresser could be removed. Willing to sell your set and buy smaller/lighter pieces and accessories on Marketplace? Have a plan based on budget, go on line for inspiration and start with the bed. Ikea would be a a great source also for blinds, lighting, bedding, art, etc. Buy the most important items and you can update as you go along.

You will create an adorable room. What is your budget? What are your favorite colors? What is your style? Do you need to cover the windows? How much light do you want in the space? Are you keeping the wood trim, the carpet and the ceiling fan? There are beds with storage underneath, and other ways to use every square inch to get the most of your space.

    Keep it simple.

I need a tos cale floor plan and you need a much lighter looking bed no foot board for sure . I have no clue what the votes are for and without that and some clue as to your style all you will get is pics upon pics like boxer did with no idea of any of the things I mention. Do the plan and post here in jpeg format in a comment DO NOT start another post.

I'd be tempted to sand and paint the closet doors and trim, so that they basically vanish, Or convert to folding rather than sliding doors, so you can get into your closet more easily. Agree that no footboard would help, and then art and maybe a rug or couple of pillows to coordinate.
