Has anyone used Vedhamn Oak IKEA?

I am redoing an IKEA kitchen in our recently bought house and wondered if anyone has a picture of the oak kitchen. Our flooring will be a light oak color. Also, I am thinking of mixing it with with white cabinetry and using the oak for the island. Would this look be too choppy?

Many things come into play when designing a kitchen I do not like the look of much of anything in the last pic IMO waterfall counters belong in very contemporary space famr house sinks in an old farmhouse and a range in a corner horrible design.The top pic stupid ends holding up the counter . If you want help here post a to scale floor plan shoing every window , doorway where those lead every measuremnt clearly marked on graph paper to make it easier . Post here in jpeg format in a comment DO NOT start another post . Once you have a plan then you start with finishes . What is your style . I happen to LOVE Ikea cabinets so all for that .Oak tricky if not the same type for sure European oak very different than the crappy scrub oak often seen here in NA

Patricia, I just came back from Ikea and will post a picture of the plan. The ikea Oak door is european white oak veneer and for the price is great. I did have to get over my dislike of oak from the 80's as that Oak was quite different. IKEA was amazing .. I am using over much of the cabinets I inherited with the house and just repositioning them so they make sense (rignt now the fridge, oven and stovetop are in a row next to each other).

https://www.gardenweb.com/user/justin-burke89 We just got all our estimates in. I am actually using Enkoping White and Enkoping walnut on Island. I loved the Oak for the price, but it was too similar to the Provenza flooring I put in, and since it was real oak looked tacky. If you have a real wood floor it is an amazing value and very pretty. Here is one of our versions. I have not got the recent one with walnut from the kitchen designer. The left side will change with the window and stove moved over and dishwasher at the end and open shelving much longer and tile going to the shorter ceiling height.

Did you end up using Vedhamn or Enkoping walnut for your bar area? I am really liking Vedhamn, but am concerned because our floors are going to be red oak. We can pick our stain, but it will
need to complement the white oak.

@mrsjlh311 - it looks like Vedhamn European Oak was used in the above kitchen. Hopefully, OP will see your question and get back to you.

You might want to take a look at Allstyle Retrofit - they have some very nice door options for IKEA kitchens. I am not associated with them - I've just been looking for some custom door fronts for my Besta units and they were recommended for IKEA Sektion/Besta/Godmorgon.
