Higher or lower replacement window?

Due to some water damage we are remodeling this area and putting in a new window over a sink. Would it look strange to have the window be a higher elevation than the doorframe and other window? If we keep it the same elevation it would be around 67" wide by 36" tall. A small U shaped kitchen will go there. The sink will go under the new window.

Windows do not have to line up on the top with doors.

I think I would need to see the reason for this very high window above a sinkIMO line them all up for sure in this small space for kitchen I do not know what the 19 1/4 refers to but your counter will be 36" high and the new window will be 36 " high so place the window 6" above the counter to line up with the other door for sure which is 80" once you add the trim around the widow it will look great .

How does the window tie in with the cabinet height? If the cabinets are going to the ceiling then the taller window would tie into that.

The two sink windows in our house are a foot higher than the top of the door and the other two windows (which align). I’m of course used to it but think it looks fine—they’re all original to the 110-year-old house. The four windows are all the same size—they’re just set higher on the wall over the sink. I appreciate having room between the counter and the window edge.
