I Am Thinking Of A Larger Icemaker

My refrigerator does not have an icemaker, so I use a countertop ice machine. It works, but takes up room, doesn’t make that much ice, and makes watery ice. For parties I’m still running out to buy bags of ice.

Does anyone have experience with these? It would live in my basement, probably.

Note that the linked icemaker does not contain a freezer so you must quickly transfer its ice to your freezer to prevent it from melting.

- What is the brand and model of refrigerator? You may be able to add an icemaker.

No hope for icemaking in my fridge. It is a commercial fridge-only machine.

Hmm, seems like the icemaker could be left on 24/7 and it will keep making ice to replace ice that melts away or is removed from the bin - kind of like the ice machine in a bar? Or, I could turn it on before an event when I'll need a lot of ice, then move the ice into ice buckets or the freezer.
