How wide is the wall the console is up against?

How deep is the console? Does the console top have sharp corners?

I am wondering if the 94” may be too long for the wall. Someone coming through the openings on either side of the wall may bump into the console corners if they are turning right or left as they come through.

If you buy the 94”, you will need to make sure the decor on or over it doesn’t cover the wall light switches.

The wall is 130 in. long. The depth of the console I bought is only 15 in. which is smaller than the one we have now. I don’t worry anyone will hit it I just want to make sure the 78 in won’t look too small.

Also, we could move the light switch down. It’s oddly far from the kitchen anyway, but I didn’t want another project if we didn’t have to : )

IMO 84 might be the right size I think the 94 is too long and the 78 a bit small. Of course this is always imporatnt to know the style too and what you plan to hang above it . I do not like the console you have BTW but I need to see your actual decor in the space next to this.

The console you selected rater fades into the wall. Maybe a bit more contrast.

Thanks for your reply. The one shown is the one I’m getting rid of. I actually bought the Henm console in the weathered wheat color. My house is very open and right around the corner I have a black console with doors under my TV. I do like the one shown above a lot but I’m afraid it will be too much black. I bought weathered wheat bc I thought it would bring the black console and brown table together. However I’m terrible at home design. I’ll try to upload a picture of my dining room later.

I also like the length of the one you uploaded. Do you remember how long it was? Can you add a picture of the Henn one in my space? Thanks!

78 inch is good, just move it over to right center with wall.
