What would you do?

last year

We recently had our kitchen refreshed with new countertops and quartzite backsplash. Our photos are attached.

-The backsplash behind the stove doesn't reach the top of the hood on the left which is glaring when sitting at the island.

-The sink corners are not matched with the sink (and we changed our original sink to this one at fabricators request-and had the new sink delivered to fabricator so they had it and the template)

-The doorway corners (4 of them) were supposed to be a straight vertical line...they are not and they are all different measurements.

-The flaw in the island slab could have been avoided. However the island was cut in order to create two 25ish inch wide rectangles the height of the slab (one on each side of the island slab). When we learned this, we were upset we were not consulted, however had a use for the two rectangular pieces...The fabricator then said they accidentally destroyed the two pieces.

-There is a crack in the stone along an electrical outlet.

-The fabricator knowingly (as they shared this with us) didn't fabricate the edges of the island at the warehouse and delivered the stone with a sharp edge line. We learned this when we inquired about it. They admitted to just delivering it anyway since they could fabricate it in hour house....which they did...and it left grey border lines around all of the edges.

-Two of the three slabs are not the same color tone indicating that they are not the congruent adjacent slabs we purchased. The island slab is one color. The other two slabs on the rest of the kitchen are a different tone. In addition features are missing from one slab that were present in the slabs we purchased.

-The work is shoddy. The fabricator stated that they can't fix any of this.
