I am in the middle of remodeling my kitchen and redoing the fireplace surround (which is practically in the same room). Kitchen will be SW Alabaster cabinets, Taj Mahal Quartzite counters and Bedrosian Chloe tile. Walls are SW Accessible Beige. My Fireplace mantle surround is black, but the tile surround will be changed. I am struggling with what to put here. No, Taj Mahal is not an option. Some say to do the same chloe tile used on backsplash on the fireplace too? I am not sure that would look ok. There is a tile floor inset also. I am a visual person and need to see pictures and can't find many online.
