Yes I like drapes but I this space the first thing I would do is paint the cream everywhere and then get Cotton or linen drapes in a similar tone to add texture. I agree, paint all the walls the color of the window wall. I dont mind feature walls, but, it doesnt look right in your room. If you really want to use the green as an accent color, then use it for window draperies, and yes, I think you need draperies. If you dont care about the green, then match the colors for the walls for the draperies.

White curtains will that works?

All one color of wall paint--the room will feel larger. White curtains would be my choice given the light beige paint on the window wall. Easiest choice that will work. I don't know how accurately the paint color is rendering--but from what I see, you don't want any off-white that reads yellow/ has a yellow undertone. A light natural linen color would work if you prefer a color other than a pure white.

Actually, a light linen color would be better than white given the other colors of the furnishings.

I really like your green wall. I'd paint the rest of the room that color and get some linen look sheers for your windows to allow for maxium light.

Paint all the walls the same color. no accent wall. it looks unfinished. whether you do white of green, white linen drapes will look great.

Yes, you can use white draperies. Just make sure the white matches well, with the white trim, you already have. Once that green is gone, your room, will look much larger and lighter too.

I also like plants ... but you have to be careful it doesn't look like you are running a plant rescue or orphanage! I would do less pots, in a larger size, with larger/fuller plants.

I dont think you need drapes. It looks great. Plus the heat register is there. The look is very in right now anyway. For light control it's another story.

p.s. I like your plants...and a bunch of small ones I don't see that as a problem.

Top down - bottom up cellular shades. Inside mount. You could choose a fabric to let less light in for daytime TV.

The where and how you hang the drapes is just as important, if not more important, than whether you want drapes or not.
