Yes, I did read that but was confused by it as it doesn’t make total sense to me. I’ve also read on other lawn forums that it is a 4 week process and this is also what the company told me at first…

To clarify, I understood that you are supposed to have applied tenacity on bare soil and then seed over it vs. what they did which was just put soil over the lawn and seed it.

I'm not sure what's confusing about it. It seems pretty straight forward to me.

I'm also not sure that you really need 3 applications now, especially as you are getting very close to the end of the window for overseeding. I'd probably wait to see how the overseed took and how well the single app of Tenacity worked and if necessary, reapply in spring.

They actually just called and said what you said - that tenacity can in fact be applied right before topsoil and seed. Unfortunately, they somehow forget to spray it! So we’ll probably have to wait until the spring
