Ideas for backsplash with Taj Mahal Counters

Hi! I am going to repost this question- I think my last post (that apparently can’t be deleted) was confusing.

We just had these Taj Mahal quartzite counters installed. Waited to pick out backsplash until after install. So far we have picked out Royal white stacked stone. It doesn’t look good (I think) I haven’t picked up that order yet- would like suggestions to go with this counter and cabinet. So I can exchange it for a different one at the same time.

Irrelevant points I made in the last post-
In the future I’d like to paint the cabinets, but it’s way down the road. Will install a brushed nickel faucet (s) just had holes drilled today. Waiting for time to get that done.

All I need are some suggestions on NICE backsplashes- to go with my kitchen.

Don't do this, (link above to the other post on the same subject) keep this all to one post. You are getting answers there and with this now all you will do is aggravate people who have already answered, cause more confusion, and make people not want to help.

This might look good with your beautiful countertop but not sure how well it may complement your cabinets that may or may not be painted in the future. When we remodeled our kitchen we chose cabinets first, then countertop then backsplash which was an easier way. That said I understand how it can be tough when a spouse disagrees with your vision:) We have edgcomb grey in every room of our house and love and it does seem to go with everything.
