I love love your bathroom. A lot of these had black tile for the contrast. Yours appears to have a darker green? Regardless the green, black and white is a classic. I would look for curtain, rugs and towels in white with black borders.

Perhaps a darker faucet, vanity pulls and light fixture in black or oil rubbed bronze would pick up on the black trim tile.

What brand/shade of white paint did you use on the walls? It is reading on my monitor as a bit tan in color. A brighter white may look better.

I was just wondering the same thing as Design Fan - on my monitor, the paint looks tan. The tub is a brighter white - it seems like the walls/trim/etc. would be better if they were also a brighter white.

This was the photo before we purchased the home. Sorry, I didn’t have an updated one, but I painted the walls white. They were originally tan.

A lot of these bathrooms were combined with some pink.

Unless there is something wrong with the plumbing or there is some deterioration that I can't see, I am not sure why this would need a gut renovation, just because it's old. It probably suits the house very well and is constructed more solidly than anything most contractors would be capable of now.

I think it's charming just as it is. You might change out the shower curtain. I'd also dress up the window with a curtain or a shade. Towels and a rug would add some oomph.

I think the white is too stark and wallpaper could really help something like this where you then add black accents and a nice stack of white and pink towels might just work

I had a green bathroom and old 1940s apartment I rented. I absolutely loved it. I used yellow accents. The paint was on the yellow side of white and worked well with the green.
