Do you plan on covering the window with wall art or keeping it open?

I like the top diagram. It really isnt much different than your inspiration. Just a window, instead of a large picture.

I agree treat the window like the art and in your case you could probably have a pice of art too below the window depending on your furniture going there I am however not a lover of that skimpy trim I think a nice wider trim could look quite interesting and make areal statement with maybe a nice tall headbord. Maybe some hint about your style could be helpful. Went to your idea book and seems you like traditional so maybe the inspo could work

Thank you for everyone’s input. This is how it’s coming out, I’m still not loving this window. Should I paint the trim around the window same color as the wall?

I think once all the restof the stuff is in place the window will be not such a big deal and it does let in light without any privacy issue

Yes paint the trim to match wall…I have the same window above my bed..we painted the trim to match the walls and also hung drapes that match the walls and a small valance was made for on the high window over bed to hide the automated shade…in this photo it has not been hung yet.
