I think fixing the wall panels/molding at the bottom should likely be a priority, if possible. No amount of paint will make you feel really comfortable until it's in good repair, I think. The nice thing about that porch, is the half-height panels give you privacy so you could even set it up as a sort of lounge area/sleeping porch.

What I see is two not-very-comfortable looking chairs and a lot of paneling. Not much scenery. I suspect a big part of your problem is the angle you took the pic from. With two better chairs, a table between them, a better picture angle, with a view outside and a glass of wine on the table, and it might look pretty glam.

I'd start with putting a nice tile on the floor and then paint those panels.

GLAM ?????? I need to know how this space relates to your home it is attached to. Is this some rental unit? We need a lot more info please .

IF your porch is less than 30 inches above ground then you should be able to replace those panels with screen all the way up, as another poster stated.

I believe code requires a panel, pickets, or cable ties as a safety measure, over 30".

I would paint everything white. If you can install either a white tile on the floor or white wood planks that you can lacquer in white that would be great. Install white sheer curtain panels.

We continue to need feed back I still do not know if this is your home or some type of rental in your resort .

Can the wall panels be removed entirely? If so, would recommend doing that to open up views and to open the porch more to any breeze that might come thru.

What are the panels made of? How are they fastened/installed (tough to tell without more and better pictures)? The bottom of that screen door is showing signs of water damage / rot as well.
