I bought a condo recently because I loved the hardwood floors so much and was "floored" when I learned they were engineered. The top layer with the wood look is approx. 1/8 inch. A nutty architect who used to live here put these floors down, but he cut around a bookcase and an 80's Ikea closet and I have removed the bookcase and I'm taking out the closet. There is a grey loop nylon carpet underneath (unless that is some fancy 80's type of underlayment).

I can't find any traditional 2.25" white or red oak engineered floors out there to patch or even replace this floor. I think it is Pergo. Does anyone know a brand of this look? I have looked for weeks, but can't find anyhting where the edges are straight, satin finish, long strips, so fewer seams, etc. Thanks everybody.
