Does the material of the ignitor matter or it's mainly the spark module sending -a spark- to the ignitor. Seems like after 15-16 years.....Wolf has changed the material / design of the ignitor. The old one was porceling, hollow, etc.

The new one appears to be ceramic, fully solid. The wire connetor lead on is exposed since it's not hollow like the previous design, so you do need to add shrinkwrap to it.

The old spring/spring clip won't work with the new one since the OD of this is slightly larger

The new one includes new spring and spring clip....but the DANG spring clip is larger than the hole of the burner top, so I need to use the old spring clip on the new ignitors.

There is some -fudging- of this frankenstain use some old - some new.

Testing seems fine once all buttond up - somewhat...

I'm awaiting for the thread locker to cure before I put some heat and test all the burners both on spark , etc.
