screened porch help

Need some design help for a screened in porch. Originally we were going to have a 14x14 with a 6 foot grilling deck to the (L) side of photo(closest to driveway). Now they have realized the septic is too close so they need to either put the grilling deck directly in front of the screened in porch (think sitting right outside of back door- looking out and the grilling deck would be what u see looking out), or to the (L) side of photo but the grilling deck would be hanging over the side of our house and near the driveway.

Any thoughts, opinions or suggestions. Pic of the porch for reference.

I felt like adding it directly
In front of the screened porch would obscure the view, and I feel like if it hangs over our house it will also look weird. I thought about a “landing” area under the deck but our contractor thinks it would look better one level.

Do you have plan of the existing house with the "screen porch" and grilling deck, with dimensions or course? The picture really does not do much to help with advice.

Does what looks like a set of tire tracks in the grass mean anything? Is that where someone parks, or the marks from service trucks to the septic door or something else?

Show where the septic is to start . Why not keep the grilling deck up off the ground then the septic not an issue and not sure the porch is going but 6' IMO too smal for grilling deck for sure . Maybe post some drawings you have that show exactly what you are planning .

For more clarity here is a picture of where the septic is. Code says porch has to be 5-6foot off of septic (even if elevated). I do not have drawings of the porch but drew what it’s supposed to be. 14x14 screened in porch with a 6x6 grilling deck off set.
Now the issue is we can’t line it up with the house bc it would be too close to septic. He can put the grilling deck off the covered porch still but it will now stick out from the house bc we have to offset the porch to not cover the septic.
He could also put the grilling deck directly in front of the covered porch which would stick out in the yard more (but this would be what I see when looking out of the porch)

Grilling porch aside, how does the roof of the screen porch relate to the house roof?

How often is the grill used? We grill 3-4 times/week year round, so it's nice to have the grill right outside the door. If used less frequently, moving the grill to ground level might be he best solution.

@millworkman the covered porch will be where the existing porch is now- raised. It will be demolished & rebuilt.

@annKH- in the spring I would say we grill 1x a week and maybe one weekend a month for breakfast on a black stone

Where will the stairs be?

Our deck is 15' x 15', and it's a nice size.

Personally, I would like the grill on the side of the deck, even if it sticks out beyond the house.

Which way does the wind blow? The grill should be close to the kitchen door. You can install an extractor fan in the roof of a porch.
