I need help. I’m building a one level cottage facing the ocean. I am covering it with Grayne Mountain Ash vinyl shakes. On the front and end gables I am using white board and batten. Windows and trim are white. There will be elements of hemlock.
The cottage is shaped like a capital ‘H’. The top ‘bowl’ of the letter H and the bottom ‘bowl’ of the letter H will be a cape cod siding. These two areas are covered verandas.

I can’t figure out what color of Cape Cod siding to put there. You will be able to see it from the inside of the house as there are 12 foot patio doors on both sides.

My contractor says to do a blue, but I’m afraid. But it’s quite bland so looking for suggestions. I don’t know how to use an app to see it. I’ve attached the graybe shakes and the cottage and the colors to choose from with the cape cod siding.
