Unless you are changing all the trim, I wouldnt paint them white. You have two white mirror things above the couch now, that clash with that trim. Maybe thats the part that is bothering you.

Our previous house came with creamy trim and doors that just looked dingy/dirty. I had it all repainted in BM Simply White. It was pricey for the whole house, but well worth it in the end.

To me, the ivory cream also clashes with the rug and uphostery. Get out a paintbrush, some white semi-gloss, and paint paint paint.

The green seems fine and green is back in now anyway.

The fur throw is too cool a gray tone in the photo. The fireplace and black staircase look like warm neutrals. Pick up colors from the tile like earth tones...fantastic with your wood tones.

A solid top coffee table would ground the space. There are a lot of strong elements in the architecture. The mirrors only add to that effect so I would remove them. The floral canvas might fit in their place.

The seating is crowding the built-ins.

I would rethink about arched mirrors above the sofa, it clashes with your contemporary railing and furniture. I would replace them with wall art.
