Ideas for backsplash and cabinets for Mont Blanc Quartzite

We have picked out these two slabs for our kitchen. They look a little more off white in person. I would like to lean into the warmer side. What would you suggest for backsplash and cabinet color? Also thinking it would be a fun to have a wow color for the 8’x4’ island. The flooring is Fuzion LPV Othelia. My furniture leans towards darker woods, creamy upholstery with accents of dusty and deeper blues, light rust and a little bit of sage green. Thank you in advance!

The island is the top pic and we have another longish run of about 4’ by the ovens. The bottom one with the white markings at top will be the counters on each side of the sink. The rug (excuse my scared dog!) is looking a little more burgundy in the pic…in real life it’s right on the boarder of rust and burgundy. The valance is my current home, but represents to the other colors that will be moving to new home with us.

@ann, the care with which you ask your question sort of provides you with an answer. You are so careful to comment on how the colors in the images appear in real life. You really need to see the counters installed in your space and lighting before you choose a backsplash. You can get started ordering samples though. That’s half the fun anyway. Do you have a tile budget? And do you have inspirstion images you have been using for guidance?

You are very smart. We just decided today to get the floors and counters installed first and then decide in the room, but I also like to look and plan. And I am always open to the great ideas given here! I have been thrown slightly for a loop by my husband. ;) We went to the stone yard to pick out our Taj Mahal slabs, and I knew exactly the look I was aiming for when he saw these slabs. They really are quite beautiful with nice, subtle movement. But I am a beige person and these can lean a little more gray than I prefer. But, I have never seem my husband of 40 years of marriage get so excited about a slab. Don’t want to dampen his enthusiasm and want him to feel like this project is as much him as me, so I am pivoting. :)

I love the feel of the leathered and loved the look. (See my Pics)However, I am having problems with stains appearing from moisture.

My walls are Collingwood and cabinets are BM Revere Pewter. My Island cabinet is BM Hale Navy since the Mont Blanc had Navy blue swirls.

Losrobles, sorry you are having such troubles with your MB. Navy is one of the colors I am thinking for my island.
